Playing cricket ,well trying to I shall admit to . Connel Doyle batting again ,we are in for a long day in the field . But I was very lucky indeed one of my grandmother,s lived in Roy Gdns which backed onto the field of play she took out great big slices of bread pudding to me so I would not suffer from fatique and as I was growing lad at the time I was ravenous anyway . Shame cricket was only once a week for me .

My first day of school Mrs Jenkins class I think, unable to speak a word of enlgish when I arrive. I was given a piece of paper and a crayon but not knowing what to do tried to copy the person next to me (I have no idea who it was). Playing kiss chase in the playground, I seem to remember a girl called Teresa who I chased a bit but never caught! Drawing a cartoon of Colin Horsnell on a box in Mr Youles class and making Sandra cry because I wouldn't go to her birthday party.
