Personal Notes: I was a 'new girl' coming from a school in Dagenham. Mr Richards helped me to feel less shy.I loved his sense of humour- and kind manner. Susan Adams lived nearby and introduced me to or classmates. We had a class trip to Epping forest. I recall Mr Richards organising a sing-song in a shelter there because it rained. Puff The Magic Dragon was one of the songs.
