Personal Notes: Moved from Ilford to Lexden Drive, Goodmayes in 1949 when 7 years old, joined Wm Torbitt at that time. Can't remember may names from the Friends reunited web site. Can tell you that my teacher in the year that I moved up to Mayfield was Miss Thompson, the caretaker was Mr Wilson one headmaster was Mr Cowan.
